Performance Uniforms

Symphonic Concert Attire:

The West Symphonic I & II bands perform in several concerts and contests each year. The following information concerns the concert uniform attire for these band members.

Girls: Black band dress (maintenance fee $30)

Black dress shoes (low heels, closed toe, no sandals)

Natural colored hose

All girls will be fitted for a dress; however, minor alterations may be needed. Dresses are to be turned in freshly dry cleaned at the end of each year.

Boys: White tuxedo shirt (1/4 " pleats)

Black bow tie

Black tuxedo vest (maintenance fee $10)

Black dress slacks

Black socks

Black dress shoes (no cloth or tennis shoes please)

The above items may be ordered from Minsky Formal Wear (972/783-0307) no later than one month before the first concert performance.

Minsky's is located at the corner of Arapaho Road and West Shore Drive in the Arapaho Road Shopping Center next to Tom Thumb. There has been a special purchase price set up just for the West band.

You are not required to purchase form Minsky's. They offer this as a convenience and have served us for many years.

Intermediate Band Concert Attire:

All members: Band T-shirt

Blue Jeans

Tennis Shoes

If a student does not have blue jeans a pair must be purchased as this is part of their uniform. If there are any concerns in obtaining the above items, please contact your director at your earliest possible convenience.
